how to tell when something was updated by up2date


is there a way to see a timestamp of when a certain things was updated with up2date?

Install dates / time for packages :

$ rpm -qa --last
$ rpm -qa --last | grep <package-name>
$ rpm -qa --last | less
$ rpm -qa --last > last-packages.txt

There's also /var/log/yum.log.
If you're really stuck with up2date (RHEL4 and earlier) I'd expect a similar logfile
