How to tell the screen resolution? (kUbuntu)

How can i tell what screen resolution i am running in?

Theres nothing in the desktop configuration dialog, nothing in kInfoCenter and nothing that i can see to show you the current resolution/
I edited my xorg.conf and want to know if it worked OK and the new screen resolution is active.

Thanks

Usually there's a button on your monitor you can push to see what the res is.
