Question How to take screenshots????


I'm using KDE and I want to take a screenshot of my desktop...
How do I do this and how do I save it to a file like *.png, *.jpg or something like that???

i normally use gimp or xwd, there are dozens of different progams you could use though

Somewhere in the KDE menu there is a green camera icon called something like "desktop capture" or "screen capture" or something. It's in the same menu as Gimp
