how to sync comcast calender from laptop with Linux to Apple I 6 plus cell phone

Hello to all, I use the Linux program for my laptop and use Comcast.net for my broadband and internet. How do I sync my Comcast Calender to my Apple I phone 6 plus ? Comcast cannot tell me how to do it? Help very much appreciated. marcoven

Welcome to LQ!
Most ISP "support" monkeys only know Windows.
Have you asked Apple?
What format is calendar in?

Habitual, I have not spoken to Apple yet, I will when I have time to stand in their lines. I am a newbie, I don't know what you mean by "what format is calendar in". Thank you for replying to my question.

Stand in line? They will call you!
I am not an Apple customer and have called on several occasions and they were very helpful
Ask Comcast about the format. There are several, such as
ical # This is the Apple default.
ics # but this says .ics
xml

Comcast support monkeys should at least know that much.

If in doubt, export to .ics and .ical

go here:
https://getsupport.apple.com/ServiceOptionAction.action
click iPhone
Click Applications
Click "the topic is not listed"
at the Describe issue prompt, type "import ics to iphone6" w\out the quotes.

And you will see some support options available to you.

You'll need your iPhone6 serial and a copy of the exported calendar in .ics format

Good Luck!
