How to store authentication information in Nautilus for smb?
In Nautilus whenever I access different windows shares by smb protocol, it always prompts me for authentication information. How can I avoid this? in other words is their anyway to configure or store the authentication information like konqueror does?
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you
the best solution that I have would be to mount the shares to local directories
I'm using Suse and this works under both the KDE and Gnome DE's
I don't know if it would be any different on Ubuntu but I believe that it should work for you
I no longer get prompted for authentication when I access these shares now
