i jst installd ns2.35 on ubuntu 11.10
nw where should i write my codes for nam?

@ziajustin and @hamidmehmood : Welcome to LQ.

If you installed a binary ns-2.35 :
'sudo apt-get install ns2' (Or with "Software Center"),
you may write a tcl file. And run it with 'ns file.tcl'.

But no c++ code can be used by the binary package.
