You could use smartbootmanager which you can put on a CD and will allow you the choice of booting from any 'bootable' partition

Were I you I would have put grub on hda rather than hdb, but then I trust linux not to bork my computer

I always have a copy of the ultimatebootcd for just such emergencies as it has tools to fix most problems on computers

There are also windows based programs but I can't recommend any of them because I haven't used them .

I'm at work now, on a Windows box. From memory, boot from the DVD. At the first prompt type 'linux rescue'. Follow the prompts until it dumps you at the command line. Type 'chroot /mnt/sysimage'. Type 'grub-install /dev/hda'. Reboot and you should be able to choose Fedora or Windows. Post back so we know if this helps you out.

Thanks Towy71 and Glennzo.
Im going to try it soon.
and i found some solutions and interested in NTLoader to boot linux
so i think it is possible to boot from the DVD
and copy a file "grub.inx" to c:\
Quote:
dd if=/dev/hda2 of=/grub.lnx bs=512 count=1
and i will try Glennzo's way as well.

cheers

I would advise against NTLoader. Better not mess with that and let grub replace the MBR. If you are not satisfied with linux and want to remove grub, you can easily do that with windows install cd.

Just my
Tux,

I have a option in BIOS to choose the bootable hard drive. You could change that you boot from linux drive and add windows option on grub.conf

I have solved this problem.
Finally, I chose Ntloader
boot from DVD and "linux rescue"
copy the grub.lnx 2 my USB HD and modified boot.ini.
Now i can login Linux correctly
Thanks a lot everybody.
