You might have sim-link problems or pathway error.

Try to use updater of choice yum prolly better for it and do a yum fix i think to fix dependancies .

I have never used yum to install a software. I always use 'rpm -ivh --force'. I tried yum search and yum install redhat.lsb. It replied nothing to do.

pkumar3835 you have rhel ??? what
the current 6.2
then you might want to search the red hat knowledge base
search for chrome
https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/search

your red hat login IS REQUIRED
that is the info you used to buy RHEL -- it is not free
https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/...en&cid=1807363

-- foe the current RHEL 6.2 ---
you might want to fallow the google install instructions
-- click download --
https://www.google.com/chrome/index....urst-animation
that adds the repo ( as the on screen docs say )
http://www.if-not-true-then-false.co...-red-hat-rhel/
install the google repo and use yum
