How to share files between my linux virtual machine and window vista host?


sorry, I am a newbie to linux. so if you have any detail instruction, it will be a great help to me.

Ok, what kind of linux guest have you? Are you using VirtualBox, VirtualPC, VMWare?

I am using VMWare worksation. the Linux is SUSE 32 bit linux

what i've done is had to setup a samba server on my v.linux box. Then just browse to it from windows. Or if you have a diff usr/passwd for your linux box - map it in windows...

Hmmm. Not sure about VMWare Workstation, but take a look at this link:

I'm more used to VirtualBox, it's a little different.
