Hi and welcome to LinuxQuestions.

You can use the GUI tools to configure the network settings or you can use the CLI to directly edit the network configuration files. This link shows how to get you started. Try it out and if you still can't get the connection ask again but provide little more details about your connection and what you have tried and how its not working.

Did you read the link I gave you? It has instructions how to do it with the command line too and AFAIK it should work with natty too.

But you should have 'network' icon in the upper-right corner and by clicking it you can type your network settings.

You can view your settings by opening terminal and using command 'ifconfig'.

Ubuntu 11.04 uses the Unity desktop, which is totally different from the classic Gnome desktop that is in the link that Zmyrgel gave you. However, the same functionality should be available somewhere in Unity. I do not know where it is on Unity since I have bailed on the increasingly bloated Ubuntu and am now using the light and fast Lubuntu with LXDE.

If you can not find the network settings GUI from Unity on 11.04, there is an option to load ubuntu-classic when you first boot the computer. If you choose ubuntu-classic, it should look similar to the link that Zmyrgel posted.

just right click the network connection icon on the upper right part of your screen, then choose edit connections, go to the DSL tab then input the necessary info.
