Ok i uninstalled the old one and re-install the new Ubuntu 14.0 on DVD drive. So what's next step? How to set up a network? Is there any installation process for one application in Ubuntu 14.0?

You should already have network unless you're meaning that you have a preference of network services other than internet.

I have no wifi. I checked the list of available wired network and i choose any unsecured network and it works but still you didnt answer my question on how to set up a wired network. Other than that is there any installation for one application for Ubuntu 14.0?

"Set up network" covers a lot of territory, ranging from a simple home network of two or three computers to a multi-site infrastructure with thousands of computers and applicances. Asking more specific questions would likely be a good idea.

In the meantime, the Ubuntu docs would be a good place to start.

Are you trying to connect to your router or are you trying to use your computer as a router for other computers
