How to set up internet connection on Centos 5.5 after installation?

Hi

I have installed Centos 5.5 on my PC and now since I am new to Linux environment I do not know how to set up Internet connection for it. I have laptop which runs on Windows and I access internet by typing in username and password for Wireless Internet (LAN cable from laptop to adapter and from adapter another cable to antenna which is outside.

Anyone who knows please help.

Basic advice: try running "system-config-network" from the terminal as root.

More in depth advice: it's tough to tell based on the limited information that you provided. Do you want to connect wirelessly or through a wired connection (like your Windows laptop, apparently)? Is your network adapter detected (i.e. post results of "ifconfig -a")? Does your network use DHCP or do you need to provide an IP address? There are many pieces of information that we need to know to help you so please be as descriptive as possible...
