How to save a xgraph file in ns2.34 for later printout !!

hello sir !

I want to save a xgraph derived by performance comparison of reactive and proactive protocols in MANET.. For doing this, I clicked the hardcopy button and select the device/file to save the file... but nothing happens...
and 1 more query is that i have searched the whole Internet to find why the packets are not transferring in Tora...But I could not find it.. This forum is my last hope..

Again, there are not just "sirs" on this site. Read the man page for xgraph....you can specify the output to a PDF file, and if you want to save to a device, you have to set other options too.

Going to have to be more clear on the question here...what exactly do you mean? What do you mean by Tora, and what are you trying to accomplish?

I read the links posted by u.. but my problem still remains.. When I select any of the Output device.. By default any of the File or Device Name comes... For ex.

Output device : Postscript
Disposition : To File
File or Device: xgraph.ps

I don't know where does this file store... I have searched the whole Fedora...Whether it requires any setting of the environment variable or something else.. There is no print option in my xgraph Hardcopy options..

Sir , I want to execute tora.tcl to make comparison with other protocols... I have downloaded the file tora.tcl from the website:
Code:
http://ipsit.bu.edu/sc546/sc546Fall2002/NS80211/course2.html
Then , I made changes in it by taking reference from other linux Thread : "tora simulation does not come to an end in ns2.34" ... Now , every problem got solved , but no packets getting transfered among any of the nodes ... That's why i am unable to calculate its throughput etc...

Spell out your words.

And apparently, it's saving it to that file, so it's on your hard drive somewhere. If you're not getting errors on the output, then you need to re-read those links, and pay attention to the options of those programs. Why don't you change the file name, and put a different path in front of it??

One more time: there are not just "sirs" on this site, or do you not read what people are posting back to you?

And before anyone can help you, we're again, going to need details. So you provided a link to the original file...great. Now how about telling us what changes you made? We can't guess as to where the problem is, and without seeing the code, there's nothing we can do to help.

I have made changes in tora.cc and tora.h and then in imep.cc (Internet Manet Encapsulation Protocol).. Tora depends on IMEP for transferring the routing packets.. After it, i recompiled the code by using the make command... You can see the changes done in TORA protocol in this website page : -
Code:
 http://khaledcse06.wordpress.com/2011/02/27/simulating-tora-routing-protocol-in-ns-2-34-on-ubuntu-10-04/
As far as I think , changes must be done in imep.cc.. what do u think??
