Cool How to restore deleted files in linux


Hi All,
i have used rm -rf and the one files removed. so plz tell restore command ...

There is no way you can retrieve files from your linux computer after deleting it from command prompt. On other side, if you delete from GNOME, it automatically goes to trash folder, but at this point you cannot retrieve your files.

you can try something like photorec.

#you can also check whether files is holding on any file descriptor by using

#lsof -Pwln | grep "deleted"
