How to restart KDE in Calculate 13.6? [Gentoo]

How do you restart KDE-4 in Calculate 13.6? In Fedora and Arch it's a very simple syntax using the systemctl command, but there's no such command in Calculate, and I haven't had any luck using the startx and xinit commands.

Thanx in advance.

To restart the GUI just log out, it should be automatically restarted. I usually use Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to force a restart, but it depends on your configuration if that works.

I know about the logout and reboot options, but I was looking for something quicker [Calculate is really slow booting up or logging in] and a little less brute-force when I was doing something minor, like changing KDE desktop settings such as the mouse cursor.
