how to reset root password using bootable disk?
 
Hello,
does anyone knows "How to recover a root password using bootable fedora Linux 11 disk?

any help would be apprciated

If you can boot the CD and mount the root filesystem, then you simply have to remove the hashed password for root in /etc/shadow. When you reboot, root will log in with no password, so make sure you set a new one before doing anything else.
