How to Remove Software Packages from openSUSE 10.3 (i586)

I installed some software packages that I no longer want. How do I remove them?

Hey,

Try to get questions like these answered by using your resources. Tons of people have asked this question in this forum alone. You can also use any search engine, especially Google... Google knows all.

It's been a while since I've used Suse, but they have what's called Yast. This can be used to delete packages and get rid of programs.

Regards,

Brandon

If you installed them from RPM, you can use the YaST2 package manager.

If you installed them from a tarball, use the "make uninstall" target.
