How to protect shared folder with password in opensuse11
 
Hi..

I configured SAMBA server in our local LAN. Now I need to configure password for shared folder which is accessible by Windows XP machines.

Please help me.:confused:

You can protect, encrypt or setup anything to secure your shared files. The means to do it is found inside your system, go read the basics:

/usr/doc/samba-xxx/docs/using_samba

The guide is extensive enough for you to have peace while running the service.
