Talking how to print my desktop?


hihi, i'd like to share with my friend what my desktop look like, how to print my desktop under kde / gnome? i remember i saw something sometimes ago, but i can't find it.

Under KDE 3.1 use the program ksnapshot. It can save the screen or a single window as a jpg image.

For Gnome there seems to be an utility called screenshooter but I havenīt tried it.

yea its call ksnapshot, i just gotta go check out where it locates heh. thanks man

You can also use gimp to take screen shots or single window shots..

also you can use the xwd command
