Unhappy how to play video using mplayer


hello friends....
i am using fedora 8... problem is i cant play video in it.. i have successfully installed mplayer but still i am not able to play video. when i play using mpl audio will be played properly but no video window will popup....

Hello,
Your problem is because you don't have the right codec for the video data.
You can get them at http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/
But first you must know which codec to use. Do you know the format of your video? If not, please post the output of the mplayer command. There are informations in it.
