How to play mpg files
 
I have just mounted my ntfs, but i cannot play mpg files using either Helix player or Totem player. Why is this? Are there any player that can play mpg files or am I missing any codec to play .avi or .mpg files? If so, where to download the codec?

Just download and install xine. Here's the link.

Also install win32codecs to support playback of divx, wmv etc formats.
