How to play live CD inside Linux?


I downloaded another distro But I am unable to play inside linux. When I insert the Iso CD nothing happen.
Do I have have to boot from CD?
My present OS is ultimate edition.

The only way (that I know of) to run a livecd inside linux is by running it as a virtual machine. Give virtualbox a try.

If it's a live CD, just boot from the CD, or as suggested before use a virtual machine.

Thanks jay73 and repo for reply. I tried the virtual box but it is not very useful. It is small screen only. one cannot enjoy it. I will boot from cd and see.
