how to play audio and video files in FC12

Hi geeks, I have finally installed FC12 on my machine Intel i5 430M, through a DVD and its working well except for a few issues.
1. It removed my Win7 bootloader and now I cant access Win7. Grub shows it in the boot menu but when I select Win7 it says boot file missing.

2. I don't know how to make it play media. I know how to install MPlayer and RPM packages but it doesn't work here. I tried to install MPlayer but during 'Make' it came up with errors. The same MPlayer had been installed on the same machine on FC8 but not in FC11 or FC12 as I have tried both.

I installed all possible packages in order to overcome such issues but still no use. So please help me get rid of these problems.
Thanks in advance

1) Startup Repair on the Windows 7 installation disk will help, if you have one.

2) Post the errors.

There is no such thing as FC12. They dropped the "Core" a long time ago.
Regarding mplayer try this :
http://rpmfusion.org/

then this
