how to place partimaged in boot


how can i place partimaged in my boot? so i can start my image server?

Partimaged is not an operating system so you don't boot it up directly. You need to start a linux system first, then start partimaged from the command line. It may not be installed yet so then you would have to go ahead and install before you can use it. Or you could boot up with a live cd like System Rescue CD which already has partimaged ( server ) and partimage ( client ) installed.

i want to have it al automaticly..
if a client asks for a image the server wil start partimaged automaticly.. how can this be done?

If you load the partimaged software onto your system, you could have it run as a service which might be what your after...

Something like chkconfig --level 12345 partimaged on

I can't remember off hand if the service is called partimaged but you could have a look after you install the software by using the command: chkconfig --list
