how to open url in new small page


hi. i want to make a help link in the site pages. the help should open a new small pages as what happens when you try to find similar threads in this site. what should i do?

From what I understand, you want a new window of your browser to open with the new page when you press the link. If so, I need more info. What are you using to write your pages? xhtml vs html, strict vs. transitional, version...?

hi. i am using html. i don't know what is the xhtml either. i am new to this stuff.

Mmmm, you should really stick to one standard, but... before anything: do you want the right solution or the quick (might not work) one?

The right one involves learning HTML, the quick one is... quick.

Which might be correct or not depending on the code you wrote. Most times, and in modern browsers, it will probably work...
