What if you type 'starteam' and then hit tab several times? It should pop up with a list of possible matches, one of which may be starteam-gui, or starteamX, or something like that.

First try to find where the file is located:
Code:
~$ grep -i 'starteam' ./*
Then you can invoke it by going into it's parant directory or using full path, as:
Code:
~$ ./starteam &
OR
~$ /path/to/starteam &

I have a few questions for clarity sake.

1: I take it you have been using windows to start this server-application?
2: Did you ever install the server on your LINUX partition?

From what I'm reading it seems you have been starting a server-application in windows, and now you want to start that server-application in LINUX correct?
