how to not add .Trash-user folder to storage device
hi, i got an mp3 player for xmas, and am setting it up on my nix box. it is a standard usb mass storage device.
everything is working mostly fine except one thing. when i delete a flie on the mp3 players memory, it creates a folder .Trash-user on the player and moves the file there like it would on any regular harddrive. this is kind of annoying though, i i would realy like to just have it delete the flie straight off the player. (just for this drive though, not for my regular drives) help? |
anyone?

What are you using to delete the files? ( What filemanager Nautalis, Konq? )

Nautalis

Try using shift-delete with the file selected, this should simply delete the file straight away. I think...
I'm not up on GNOME, hopefully someone who is will be able to give you a better reply. |
