How to mount NFTS filesystem in RHEL -5


Hi
Everyone

Please suggest me how to mount ntfs partition in rhel5
simply how you access ntfs partition

If you can't mount it already, the package you need is ntfsprogs from memory. Then you should be able to mount the partition as you would any other.

Use ntfs-3g and add this in your /etc/fstab :

/dev/<your partition> /media/<mount point> ntfs-3g defaults 0 0

If it still doesn`t want to mount, add to the above line :

/dev/<your partition> /media/<mount point> ntfs-3g defaults,force 0 0
