How to mount and configure Huawey E160 3G USB modem on Ubuntu?


ubuntu is unable to find my huawei E160 modem driver when i insert it to my computer.

Regarding your issue, check these threads on the ubuntu forum. It looks like you have to properly edit your udev rules:

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

This is only urgent to you not to us so please change your thread title so it gets the attention it deserves. We're all volunteers here so don't ask for special or urgent treatment. Also when asking a question you should indicate what version of Ubuntu you are using, what's showing up in log files or in dmesg when you plug in the device. Have you tried booting with the device plugged in? Have you had a look at Google (which turns up quite some interesting links for that particular piece of hardware in combination with Ubuntu/Linux)?
