Hello everyone,

I have dual boot up with Red Hat Linux 7.0 and Win2K. Everytime I boot up the system takes me to a Red Hat Linux Bootup screen which gives me two options: Linux or Dos.
Linux is the default and if I don't select Dos within a certain time it will automatically boot into Linux. Is there a way to make DOS the default so that it will automatically boot into win2k if I don't select Linux within a certain time? Thanks in advance!

lilo boot

yeah the way to make the dos default would be to edit the /etc/lilo.conf file and theres a "default=" line and instead of linux, you would put dos. save the file then run /sbin/lilo so that lilo see the changes you made and when you reboot dos will be the default OS.

I do have one question Marci, how come you posted the same question in three different forums?
