How to make my own iso image from runing Centos one (( Elastix ))


I need to take iso image from my running elastix ((Centos ) machine and , i can install it by all its configurations in any other machine like i make installtion from the source one , but the diffrenece now is this this new iso image has the added configurations and softwares also the piont is
that this new iso image can be installed in any other machine not same RAM HDD and CPU is required

Also plz forgive me if i wasnot clear as this is my first ost here

What you suggest is problematic: /proc has all your ram in it; /dev/, /media, & /mnt may contain all the disks you have mounted. /sys likewise has issues. You can't back them up and use that for a new install. If you run without them, the system won't boot.

try this:
Quote:
cd /
tar -zcvf etc.tar.gz /etc/*
Which will back up your configuration to etc.tar.gz. Simply use the install cd and you can duplicate the settings by running
Quote:
cd /
tar -zxvf /path/to/etc.tar.gz

Thanks but

Thanks for your replay , but this will overide the configuration which is in etc ?? and for the other configuration in var and ... what to do ??
is there any nothing to take the runing machine as iso image then burn it then setup it where i want ?

There are backup programs, which, I gather you pay for.
