how to make mplayer the default embedded firefox player for real media files


i have a problem of player streaming media of real media through firefox plugin, i have install the mplayer plugin for firefox...but the embedded mplayer will only play the asf files but no real media files....while my normal mplayer can play real media files...
how can i make mplayer the embedded player for real media files???
