Thumbs up how to make media player


Hi all

I want to write a media player. But I do not where to start.
Any one can help me?

What sort of file formats do you want it to play? There are numerous libraries out already - the best thing to do is see which one you're interested in developing and then test the library, learn about the format(s) used, and fix up bugs + add features.

If you mean making yet another "CD player GUI" or something - well, I don't see how anyone can really give you tips on that - just choose a language to use and a widget set (gtk2+ is good) and do it.
