How to make Linux driver for usb pc camera???



I have a usb pc camera.
recently I changed My computer OS from Window to Linux.
But i can not install web pc camera.
But the producer have not yest offered the Linux driver.
Is there any way for me to create it bu myself???

Depends on your skill. But, why not post the camera make and model if you can. For example at least post the output of '/sbin/lsusb' (without quotes). So just type that into a terminal or console and press Enter. I'm betting the camera is likely to be supported by some driver that currently exists.

Did you try digiKam? I had the drivers to access one of my cameras which I could not access any other way.

If its a digital camera, most of them work just like an external hard drive.

If its an actual Webcam (like for video chat, etc.) I've found their support is shaky at best.
