How to make downloaded individual music files seem like an album

I have FC-5 and use KDE.

I use LimeWire to download music files. Now, after the files are downloaded I put them in a folder (directory) and put that folder in my collection. The problem is that my music players, for example Rhythm Box, must not interpret that folder as an album, because it lists that pseudo album by separate files or partial folder contents. Is there a way that I can make downloaded files seem like an album?

Thanks,

royeo

if i understand you correctly, you want to change the Album tag for all the files in a certain directory. to do that you can use Ex Falso. after that you should rescan your libary and everything should be fine. IIRC ex falso can even do that to several folders, so you can do it in batch
