How To Make an Icon on Desktop
 

Hi All. I am trying to create an ICON on my desktop. I have tried everything:
1. Placed cursor in area where no icons are and clicked on left mouse button and New Terminal menu pops up.
2. Placed cursor in empty area and right clicked and NOTHING happens (never got the CREATE pop up).

We are RED HAT 9.0. Any ideas? Thanks all.
