how to make amarok 1.4.8 on fc8 to play mp3

Oh great masters of linux!

this humble newbie would like to know, how to get amarok to play mp3 files on a new installed fc8. I have looked in sites from amarok, but there is no info for fc8.
is there an easy "yum-it" way to get what i need?
please write the answer as clear as possible.
