I don't run fedora (and haven't used liveusbcreator), but the A: part of your error message suggests to me you may have the wrong target selected?

Just to be sure what version are you trying to use? x64? dvd?

The latest live usb creator should be used and should work.

Otherwise you can...

$ dd if=F12-Live-i686.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=8M

Be careful with dd. dev/sdX is the flash drive but you need to be sure.

Might have to make the flash bootable by other means.

I believe the OP wants to create the usb from XP. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Yes I want to create the Bootable USB from inside XP. The LiveUSB finishes properly except for the one error that I mentioned already above. When I boot using that USB the system boots and installation begins but at one point it says something like this "Can't find ISO image on the drive"
I am still could not find a solution to this.

Thanks.

Did you tell LiveUSB where the iso image is?

Its easier if you have a FC 12 livecd, then just install usb creator into livecd, plug in usb
and I think it simply transfers either the running system or give path to iso.

are you following all the steps in the GUI ?

doesn't appear to be an ISO file. Usually (not always) you should be using something like Fedora-12-i386-DVD.iso as your source file.

See this. https://fedorahosted.org/liveusb-creator/wiki/FAQ for few ideas.

Might have to force it to read the drive. Might be formatted wrong. Or install app in xp mode or use admin or other.

Liveusbcreator has been used by plenty of people and it works.

You do know many distro isntall cd's and some dvd's are live cd's. They are great emergency disks to have.
