How to Login as Root (Mandrake 10)
I know this is stupid question but I can't figure it out. I have a username Almazick which is in Primary group ROOT and I'm still restricted to root folders and installing software’s. When I try to logout it only gives me 1 username Almazick but I can't see username Root to log in. How do I login as Root?

Hi!
You should type for username: root and then enter root's password. Best you use your normal useraccount, Almazick, and use root only in terminal when you install software. su - Password: ****** This is how you change to root in terminal. To get back as normal user type: exit Boby |
Thank, worked as a charm
