how to log in as root

He is a very newbie question


how do I login as root on SuSu 9.0 ?

username will be

root

and the password will be whatever you assigned when you installed the system.

You can also get there from a user account (useful for doing termporary admin tasks). At a terminal window type
Code:
su -
you will be prompted for the root password.
