How to load bttv module on boot?

I've managed to get my tv card working in Debian. The card isn't automatically detected and I have to tell it the card and tuner numbers after typing "modprobe bttv".

How do I get the bttv module and the card and tuner info to be loaded automatically on boot?

try this

try adding this in your /etc/modules.conf

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv card=2 radio=1
options tuner debug=1
