Exclamation How to isable multiple session for a single user on RedHat server Graphical interface

Hi,

We have RedHat Linux 6.4 & we can also access the system via GUI.
Problem is one user can open more than one GUI session at a time.
We want to avoid it.
So goal is how to disable multiple session for a single user on RedHat server Graphical interface, so that only on GUI session for one user?

Many thanks in advance for this help.

Regards
Nripendra

Allowing remote X connections is a VERY BAD IDEA. It is insecure, and shouldn't be allowed, period. Users can still run GUI based programs by tunneling X over SSH, which will allow that PROGRAM to run, not the entire X GUI. There are several tutorials that can show you how to set this up.

Disable/remove VNC services from your server. Run GDMsetup to disable remote X connectivity. And have you contacted Red Hat support for assistance? Since you're PAYING FOR RHEL (right?), you are also paying for support. They may be able to offer suggestions.
