Mail Flow is as follow:
Any Incoming and outgoing mail gets scanned for Anti VIrus and Anti Spam by Symantec Messaging Gateway which also a does SMTP.
All User access there mails via OWA/HTTP Server.
500 Users are split between two MS Exchange 2003 systems which internal generated SSL certificate by Microsoft.
All user are created in AD first.
Below are the requirement what we discuss :
Need common URL for the all user (MS Exchange and e-Interact)
It should co-exist with existing MS Exchange 2003 and upgrade version 2010 and 2013.
Setup of OWA and two Microsoft Exchange 2003 in Virtualize and new email systems that is to be added would be virtualize as well.
All user must access this hybrid set up (Microsoft Exchange and e-Interact)via OWA/https Systems.
Email Client recommendation and Can MS Outlook support.
Should be able to share GAL across MS Exchange and e-Interact.
OWA/https ,MS Exchange Server and e-Interact should not be expose to INTERNET directly.
Kindly confirm, correct & let me know If I`ve missed any point.
Confirm what? And how would we know if you've missed any points, since we don't know anything past what you've posted? You seem to have a Microsoft environment...so what part of Linux is involved here?? If you're looking to migrate your mail/calendar services, you have LOTS of options, from postfix to sendmail, to the Evolution server from SuSE/Novell. There are several CalDAV options for Linux for calendars, several anti-virus solutions, and several web email portals.
