How to install webcam for lenovo y510 on ubuntu 8.10 i386

Hi.
I finally am giving ubuntu a try after using windows xp for many years and recently bought a computer with vista.
I installed ubuntu 8.10 on my lenovo y510 which has an integrated web camera. On vista it used LenovoEasyCameraDriver.exe. But this driver is made for vista. Is there a driver or program I can use to be able to use my web camera.

Thanks,
PuertoRicoFishin... "ubuntu newbie"

I downloaded it here . Now I was having problems to install it to my second partition at first as AutoPlay from the DVD I burned it onto. I think it was due to a bad image mounting. So, after a few tries, what I did was. Instead of auto play, I right clicked on the DVD and clicked on explore. I then opened the umenu.exe . I then had the option of installing ubuntu - mythbuntu. Since I was only opening the umenu.exe on the DVD the other files were obviously missing, it automatically connected to a server and downloaded the whole thing and installed it automatically. (or something like that)

Now, it would be nice if someone answered my question.

If you have anymore questions, please open a new thread and send me a link to your thread. I will be more than glad to go to your new thread and try to help you any way possible. I'm also sure that you will get more qualified help than from me.
P.S. I'm sorry if I wasn't of much help to you.
