how to install visual basic applications in ubuntu


i want to develop vb application in ubuntu!!!but i failed to install vb in my laptop!! any help please

google for "mono"

But this is for *.net
If you want a older VB I don't know.

I even don't know why one would like to write VB.

Step one remove Ubuntu
Step two install Windows
Step three shoot computer

Or as previously mentioned Google "mono".
