Hi Guys, this is my first post and I am a newbie in Linux. I installed Xubuntu Hardy Heron on my ACER 4710 and successfully connected to the internet using the built-in WLAN but it's so slow (low signal inside my house). I am planning to use my external (USB) WLAN because this gave me a lot better signal. But I don't know how to install the driver.
I can follow instructions well. Please help. My External WLAN is Edimax EW-7318USG and this was working very well on Windows XP.
I already downloaded the nsidwrapper but I don't know where and how to start.

In parallel with this one, I kept on reading and researching too. I found one thread that used an application called automatix. Another using RPM, sudo commands, I don't know how to start yet. Let's help each other with this one, since this may appear VERY basic to some. :-)

As if no one is interested in helping. I am leaving this website. !@&&$@oi!!!!!
