Hello, friend:
my hard disk(HD) has total 4 drivers(C:, D:, E:, F
, and my computer has two operation systems( Window XP and Mandriva linux), and it is dual-boot. But not long ago my Linux system failed to work and its error message shows kernel panic, init not found etc.... Something like this.
So my questions are:
(1) what is wrong about this message? How can I fix this problem?
(2)This is the main problem I have: Now if I would like to re-install the Fedora linux system there, which was borrowed from you last week. But the problem is that: I know my Window XP was in the driver C: , but I could not find which driver the old Mandriva linux system was installed before so that I didn't know which driver I need to install my new Fedora(through overriding the old linux system).
So, could you be kind enough to tell me the steps and ways or commands I can use to find out which driver the old Mandriva was installed? Thanks much!
