can you help me how to fix this, please..
No, we can't.
First, RHEL 4.8 is VERY old and unsupported. It will NOT work on newer hardware, period. It *MIGHT* work, if you actually PAY FOR RHEL, and contact their support team
. They MIGHT be able to assist you, but it's highly doubtful. If you want to use Red Hat Enterprise, you need to PAY FOR IT, period. If you don't, you'll have an unsupported/unpatched/unstable system. The latest version of RHEL is 6.4. If you NEED RHEL, but don't want to pay, then you need to download CentOS instead...which is 99.x% IDENTICAL, but FREE. Chances are the latest version of CentOS will probably 'just work'.
That said, why do you need a server-class OS on a consumer-machine? Things like wifi, bluetooth, graphics, sound, may work...and may NOT work without a lot of effort (if at all), under server-distros. That's because such things are not found on servers. Load Fedora or Mint instead.
