All you need to do is extract the file to a directory of your choice, and run firefox
Code:
tar -zxvf <filename>.tar.gz
firefox

I wold like to add some info.
If you run just firefox, you'll run your old firefox (if you have one, or receive some error if you have not). After extract the file, you should enter in this directory and run
Code:
./firefox
