How to install Mandarake 9.1 on my slave drive?

Hi:

I`m a Mandrake 9.1 newbie wanting to install it on my slave drive. I have Win 2000 already installed on my master`s , and I would like to be able to boot both OS but each on a separate disk without disturbing themselves and without making any partition. How could I possibly set this up during the installation procedure? Where do I have to install lilo?
Thanks in advance for any help

Leo

Maybe a lil help

Hello,
I just did the same thing you want to do a few days ago.
I have windows xp on my master driver and a free slave drive
what i did was use partion magic and made the linux file system on my slave drive and then went on to install mandrake.
While installing it will ask where you want to install it to and you select the drive.

Good luck.
Hope that helps.

hi
i just did it a few weeks ago. it's really easy!
just let mandrake take care of everything; it will do the partitionning for you and will install lilo on the mbr.
when you're in the partitionning screen, be careful of selecting your slave drive (should be hdb on linux, while your w2000 drive should be hda.
